2002/2003 Yearbook
2002/2003 Yearbook
The ACS Yearbook is as close to a tradition at our school as anything else. This year, although there are so many new changes, it will still be as memorable as it ever was. In previous years, Mrs. Lord was the woman behind all of the crucial decisions that needed to be made. Since Mrs. Lord has deservingly decided to retire from teaching, the yearbook has been headed by ACS's very own Anna-Maria Petitti, along with two student co-editors and a dedicated yearbook committee.
The yearbooks, which were purchased in early August of last year, were $25 each and we hear that it will be well worth it. This year, all of the decisions about the design of the yearbook were based entirely on student input and representation. Many different kinds of pictures were taken throughout the whole school year- including Pyjama Day, the Christmas Assembly, the Retro Boogy Dance Party, and of course the exciting events of everyday ACS school life!
Students should make sure they have held on to their yearbook receipt, just in case there is some confusion about their purchase. Yearbooks should be expected to arrive near the end of September of the 2003-2004 school year. A lot of involvement at various school events, picture development, and challenging article writing has gone into this year's production...and it's only the beginning. The responsibility of putting together a yearbook for a great school like ACS has been open-mindedly embraced by all who were involved!
