The ACS Environmental Committee
The ACS Environmental Committee met with representatives from the heath unit and the walkability/bikeability task force who were there to present two cheques, together totalling $800. These cheques were the result of two grants the committee had applied for in the spring of last year. The grants were to assist the committee in purchasing and installing bike racks around the school. 3 were purchased with one currently installed. We look forward to the two new racks coming in spring 2010. Bike racks will be avaiable for use at the student and portable entrances to the school.
