WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN FUN ACTIVITIES?
WANT TO HELP ORGANIZE SPECIAL EVENTS FOR YOUTH?
WANT TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT COMMUNITY?

  • The Shellard Neighbourhood Association would like to form a youth group to provide students in Grade 6 and up with fun activities to do.
  • We are in the planning stages of this group and would like to hear from you regarding participation and ideas for activities.
  • We also offer COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS for planning, organizing and running these events but also for assisting us in many of our events we sponsor all year.

8th ANNUAL COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE   We do the advertising. You do your own sale at your home. St. Gabriel’s School - centre for refreshments, washrooms. Rent an outdoor table space at the school $20 for 1 or 2 for $30.  Call Barb

 

PLANNING FOR THE SUMMER BAR-B-Q  is underway and if you would like to get involved please contact Jason Virtue at 519 512-1971.

 

COUPON BOOKS $10 Approximately 50 various coupons from Brantford businesses with 20 of our local businesses in the book.  We are also offering an incentive of $2/book for those who would like to sell these books for us. High School students welcome.

 

YOUTH GROUP & PROGRAMME We are working on having a grand opening event sometime in June so stay posted and we will let you know what and where.

Free fine arts workshop for teens aged 13-18 - 9 sessions
StProgram starts Friday June 4th at 6:30-8:30 p.m.

 

The programme is offered through the St. Leonard Youth and Drop In Centre at the Salvation Army Wynfield Community Church on Diana Drive. Sam Sanderson, a local artist will be there for instruction and guidance. Please contact Melissa Hillman or Katie Curtis at 519 754-0253 or mhillman@st-leonards.com to register.

 

St. Leonard Youth and Drop In Centre at the Salvation Army Wynfield Community Church on Diana Drive  operates their youth drop in centre every Friday from 5 till 9 pm.  Come on over and see what they have to offer. Their grand opening will be in conjunction with SNA YOUTH sometime in June. So stay posted
